York Civic Trust runs events for our members such as visits, walking tours, lectures, competitions and social events.  These help our funds and offer the chance to meet other members and local experts.
New members are additionally invited to specific events to introduce them to the Trust.  Corporate members and their staff are invited to book events also.
The Trust also holds events jointly with other organisations, such as the Sheldon Trust, York Consortium for Conservation and Craftmanship, Beverley Civic Society, and Hull Civic Society.

This is the page with the calendar for members - YCT Members' events.
You will see in the calendar our Eventbrite electronic booking and payment system as a supplement to the postal bookings.
There is a high demand for events, so a waiting list is kept for popular ones, so even if you book by post it helps if you have given us an email address.
If you cannot come, after making a booking, please contact the office.

As the events programme raises valuable funds for the Trust's work to improve the city of York, our Events Committee is always glad to learn about new locations to visit, modern as well as historic.  You can contact the Chairman, David Foster, through this link.

If you would like to join York Civic Trust, this is the page with our simple membership form.
