By joining with like-minded organisations on specific projects, the York Civic Trust can create a critical mass, and achieve much more than on our own.

Many such partnerships have come and gone as the need arises, but there are a few enduring ones to which the Trust is committed and in which we play an active part. Some of these are outlined here.

The Trust enjoys a relationship with a number of affiliate groups (such as Friends of Fairfax House, Yorkshire Philosophical Society, National Centre for Early Music, plus many others).  One of the benefits of Trust membership is to hear by email from time to time (if members wish) about interesting lectures or visits organised by these groups.
