Previous Initiatives

Over the last 65 years the members of York Civic Trust have helped to bring about major changes of lasting benefit to the city. Much has been achieved in partnership with the City Council and others, but sometimes we have been the lone, independent voice, offering a long-term view which may have been at odds with those seeking short-term gain.
