We are delighted to unveil our latest Blue Plaque at the entrance of All Saints Church, North Street, York, in honor of local architect and designer Edwin Ridsdale Tate, which took place on Wednesday 11th July.

The plaque was unveiled by Peter Stanhope, whose generous donation and fundraising allowed York Civic Trust to purchase and install the plaque. The Trust places its thanks on record to Mr Stanhope for his work in bringing this project to fruition.

Shortly after the plaques unveiling in front of a generously sized crowd, it historically became YCT’s first plaque to receive a blessing from a priest, which was performed by All Saints Church’s own Father Ken Gabbadon.
