Commissioned restoration and conservation cleaning works undertaken by Rook Heritage, have been completed to the 1929 gate piers, located on New Walk, close to the Blue Bridge which spans the River Foss. The gates have suffered years of periodic water damage from flooding by the River Ouse. Read more about out City Enhancement Projects.
