Inspirational Women of York

In this centenary year of the Suffragette movement, join Sarah Jackson from Yorktour to hear about the significant women of York and their impact on the city’s culture and heritage. From an Abbess to an angel, an author to an anchorite, we will spend up to two hours following in their footsteps. The starting point is Micklegate Bar and from there we will proceed at a leisurely pace into the city centre and finish in The Shambles.
