The York Trailblazers project curated by York Civic Trust celebrated York rich and diverse heritage. The project ran between 2022 and 2025 and was made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The project involved over 81 partners from across the city involving artists, community groups, historians, heritage professionals, young people from across York and our key partner Make it York.
The project delivered:
School workshops for 1150 young people
School Resource Packs for all 63 York schools
