York Civic Trust invites you to attend its annual Secondary Schools Public Speaking Competition, which this year will be held at the King’s Manor, University of York, on the evening of Wednesday 20 November.
The contest provides an excellent chance for young orators from York’s schools to take to the stage and persuade, entertain and convince our audience on their own viewpoints, on a topic related to York.
The competition will be held in the presence of the Lord Mayor and the Civic Party of York and will begin at 6.30pm.
