Milburn, which stands in West Bank Park just off Acomb Road, is due to get underway shortly now that all permissions are in place to move the project forward.
Queen Victoria statue restoration

Where was this statue originally located please, I understand West Bank did not become a public park until 1938?
Hi Sheila, We understand it was the Guildhall.
What does the inscription say? We did try to read it, but failed. Thank you in advance.
‘ERECTED BY PUBLIC SUBSCRIPTION… QUEEN VICTORIA….BORN 1819. ASCENDED THE THRONE 1837. DIED 1901.’
