York Civic Trust’s latest city enhancement project is taking shape. The restoration of the Grade II listed statue of Queen Victoria by York sculptor, G.W. Milburn, which stands in West Bank Park just off Acomb Road, is due to get underway shortly now that all permissions are in place to move the project forward.
