Micklegate II

Last year Darrell Buttery began a new series of walks looking at famous names connected with different areas of the city. Micklegate proved too much of a challenge for one walk so the lower part of the street and environs will be tackled this year. The Bouchier family of Micklegate House, and the notable group of men known as the York Virtuosi, will be among the people dealt with.

Meet at Jacobs Well, Trinity Lane from 5.30pm leave venue at 6.15pm, walk concludes at 8.00pm
