Continuing our alternative tours of York by cycle, we will investigate the railway lines of York as they were at their maximum extent. Starting on the current East Coast Main Line, we will follow the course of the Derwent Valley Light Railway through three former stations, and see the locations of some of the other ten railway lines within York.
Before booking on the tour, please ensure that you have a road-worthy bicycle, and you are comfortable riding in convoy over twelve miles, including some sections on busy trafficked roads.
Meet in Marygate Car Park (Scarborough Bridge end) YO30 7BQ.
